Hi, my name is Laurie Bornstein and my passion, the thing I love most, is helping you create a sense of comfort and balance in your life. Empowering YOU to find inspiration in your surroundings and success within yourself.

My journey has taken me down many roads, each experience has given me the tools, knowledge and strategies that have uniquely combined and crafted who I am and what I do. From becoming a fashion buyer at 21, having twins when I was 27, to owning my own decorating business, becoming a feng shui consultant and teacher, CEO of the International Feng Shui Guild and Life & Biz Soul-utions coaching expert. It amazes me to see the trajectory and opportunities I've been blessed to have had.


Don't get me wrong, I've had my share of ventures that didn't turn out the way I'd planned. I know what it's like to bump up against people and situations that seem to hold you back, or drain your confidence and self worth. I've had my share of life challenges, frustrations and catastrophe's and through it all the one thing I had that never waivered was the belief that I could do and achieve whatever I wanted to.

I'm not saying this to impress you; I'm saying this to impress upon you that anything is possible. If you believe in yourself and you're willing to do the work, you CAN make magic!

See, here's the thing I believe that every experience - good, bad and inbetween - is an experience to learn from, not a mistake. I don't believe in mistakes. I believe that everything we experience is a learning opportunity. And I believe that learning what you don't like is just as important as learning what you do like.

Our lives are full of twists and turns; many of us have had more than one career. Along that road we've gained LOTS of valuable experience. The goal isn't to leave our past behind, the goal is to design our lives from our life experiences, the experiences of others, books we’ve read, classes or workshops we’ve taken and the expert advice of the pros and mentors we’ve had the honor of learning from.


Creating a life & biz YOU love means looking honestly at what’s working and what isn’t working within your life, your way of working, and in most cases, your living environment.

It’s not about having enough money or not having enough money, or following the latest trend or guru. It’s about understanding until you change, your quality of life is going to remain the way it is.

It’s about understanding the biggest rule of all is there really are no rules, except to embrace with confidence, who you are, what's important to you and what makes your heart sing.

I believe that we are all profoundly affected by the environments we inhabit; our words, our thoughts and our actions combine to influence how we experience the world around us. And through the principles of feng shui and the power of life coaching we have the ability to improve the quality of our lives and the world we live in.

Isn't that an amazing thing? Just by changing the way we think and the environments we inhabit, we have the power to improve the quality of our lives!

Laurie is the President and CEO of Harmony Life, LLC., and the founder of Biz Soul-utions from the Inside Out™, a dynamic, transformative coaching program designed to help women entrepreneurs embrace success in all areas of their lives while building a powerful base for business success. Laurie is an internationally renowned mentor, coach and feng shui teacher. With over 17 years of experience, Laurie combines her unique blend of knowledge, training and skills into her coaching and feng shui training programs, creating powerful learning environments that combine the practical with the transcendental. As an inspiring leader and in-demand teacher and coach, Laurie has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs learn how to use their knowledge, skills and the environments around them as guideposts to achieve deeply personal and highly focused business and personal success.

Laurie is a Master Teacher and Educator of Interior Alignment®. She is one of the original Interior Alignment® board members, where she served for six years. Laurie is also active in the International Feng Shui Guild® where she served on the board for over seven years, first as the Education Director and then as CEO. Under her guidance, the IFSG® developed professional standards for practitioners and schools within the feng shui community, while expanding the visibility, viability and recognition of feng shui and feng shui professionals throughout the world.

Laurie has hosted a monthly Internet Radio Talk Show, written for The Examiner.com as the National Feng Shui Lifestyle Examiner and has been featured in magazines, TV and radio shows throughout the US.
